Never leave a packet of Gu in your shorts pocket and then throw them in the wash.
Published by
Why, you ask? So many reasons. First and most obviously, it's a waste of Gu. A pack of Gu costs a buck twenty-five. A buck twenty-five can buy you . . . well, a pack of Gu. A hundred delicious calories. With caffeine. Double caffeine, even. Secondly and most importantly, it will result in everything else in the load of laundry (say, for example, all of your favorite running clothes, all of them black) covered in little globs and smears of something that looks suspiciously like boogers. It will also leave them smelling like some horrible chemical fusion of Mountain Fresh Tide with Bleach and Vanilla Orange Roctane. It's a bad idea, folks. Don't do it. Please learn from my misfortune: make sure you CHECK YOUR POCKETS before you wash your running gear.
